Christy Gautre graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2002 with a BS in Mathematics. In May of 2010, she will receive her MS degree in Applied Physics from the University of New Orleans. Christy began working on her MS after joining Shell in 2007, where she works in Quantitative Interpretation Geophysics for multiple Gulf of Mexico fields. Christy also worked as a Physical Scientist in Mine Warfare at the Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi from 2003 to 2007. Christy is from Slidell and currently lives in Metairie with her husband.
