William is currently a Seismic Engineer for WesternGeco, in the New Orleans office. He started in the industry with WesternGeco in 2006. William has previously served as a company representative for the SGS (2006-2008). He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Geology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi (1998-2002), as well as, a Masters in Geophysics from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky (2002-2005). While at the University of Kentucky, William’s studies focused on High Resolution Geophysical Imaging with an emphasis on Shear Waves and, how seismic waves attenuate through varying geological lithologies. He has also been a member of SEG since 2000.
