Ken Reynolds received an MS in Geology from Auburn University in 1981 and began working for Texaco in their New Orleans office that same year. With Texaco, Ken was responsible for exploration and development projects throughout the Gulf Coast. His assignments ranged from both onshore and offshore Louisiana assets to the Vicksburg of South Texas. Upon the merger with Chevron, Ken accepted a position on their Deepwater Asset Development team in New Orleans primarily assigned to the Petronius Field in Viosca Knoll. His current technical focus concerns the development of Petronius reservoir models and maximizing value from Chevron’s time-lapse seismic survey recently acquired for that asset. Ken is a member of AAPG and SEG and has served as SGS Treasurer for 2007-2008.
